Letter from Musa Bayg

Content The Safavid Empire intends to strenghten its relations with the Netherlands. In his letter the Persian envoy Musa Bayg asks the Staten-Generaal to intensify their trading activities in Iran. He also reports on the miltary conflict with the Portuguese at Hurmuz and mentions the treaty with the British East India Company.
