Content | Due to a famine in the province Fars, Fath-'Ali Shah orders the local governor to sell all the existing food stocks at an adequate price to the people in need. He also announces the dispatch of caravans with wheat from Tihran and other places of Western Iran ('Iraq), which would be delayed as a result of the 'Ashura ceremonies. | |
