Vaqf deed by Hajji Muhammad Sharif (Kukaldash Madrasa, Tashkent)

Content Mir Sharif Hajji al-Haramayn has sent a letter (maktub) from Syria in which he declares a shop (uskunah-yi yak bab-i dukkan) near the Madrasa Kukaldash to be converted into vaqf on behalf of the Madrasa's students. The mutavalli of the Madrasa's endowments ascertains the validity of this "vaqf by mail" and receives a respective verdict (hukm). Fond No. I-17.Op. 1. D.32601. P.7.
